Midori MD Paper Products MD Notebook A7 Grid, is the smallest and cutest of the MD Paper Collection, available in both Lined and Blank as well.
This A7 MD Notebook Lined has a thick line at the center so that you can divide each page in half or divide a two-page spread into quarters. Use it for notes or a diary, or add dates and use it as a schedule.
Every MD Notebook comes with a glassine paper in place of a cover, as if the glassine paper is ike the dust jacket of old books to add to the effect while also keeping the pages clean. Use it to protect your MD Notebook or take it off and use your MD Notebook bare. Alternatively we have plastic, paper and leather covers to fit your notebooks.
It also comes with index tabs that coordinate perfectly with the coverless design and exposed cheesecloth spine.
Some are printed with frequently used items such as “IDEA” or “DIARY”, while others are left blank so that you can add your own headings. They can also be stuck to the top to hold the string in place.

Midori MD PAPER x Misc-store Amsterdam
MD Paper is Midori’s pride when it comes to the art of making paper. Ever since Midori made MD Paper in the 1960’s, they have applied the Japanese ‘Kaizen’ principle — meaning they are continuously looking for ways to improve its quality. The result is paper that will not stain, or bleed and is fantastic to write on, especially with a fountain pen.
Not only the paper itself has been developed carefully, also the method of binding deserves an explanation. The MD Notebooks are bound by means of stitching; a large sheet of papier is folded into a bundle of 16 pages. Then, such bundles are bound with thread. To honor this method of binding, Midori has left the cover uncovered, so its spine exposes the cheesecloth tape, which is used to reinforce the bound paper. This method enables the notebook to open entirely flat, ensuring ease of writing, without a bumpy middle.
