Friends Flipbook
Flipboku’s Friends Flipbook is a tiny, pocket-sized flipbook and tells a story on self-care and self-reliance. Created by Danish illustrator Stine Illum, it won the first prize in the first Napa Flip Book Competition back in 2008.
As you flip through, the scene unfolds before your eyes. The story begins with a boy rowing his boat, alone. When he stares into the water, he finds his reflection staring back at him. The boy pulls his reflection out of the water and in it, has found himself a friend.
